Before booking a K-pop concert in Korea, confirm three things: the organiser’s authorised ticket seller, the checks for your sale, and how you will receive and use the ticket. An account, a fan-club membership and a payment confirmation answer different questions. Prepare each part before building travel plans around a show.

This guide is for international visitors planning their own booking. It explains what to check, rather than promising access to a particular concert. Follow your performance’s latest official notice and booking conditions.

1. Start with the organiser’s booking link

Find the announcement on the artist’s official community, agency or event website. Follow its ticket link and check the artist, city, venue, date and ticket type on the destination page. Save both pages so you can return to the instructions.

A seller’s name alone does not identify the correct route. Check whether the announcement directs overseas buyers to a global page, and whether that page lists your performance. YES24’s official English FAQ, for example, distinguishes its Global Ticket registration from other YES24 memberships.

Before arranging travel around a concert, decide what you would do without a ticket. Keep an alternative itinerary you would still enjoy. Our first fan-trip checklist connects the concert plan with the rest of your visit.

2. Check the identity attached to the booking

Compare the required information across your travel document, ticket account and any membership used for the sale. Follow the seller’s instructions for name order and spelling. If something does not fit the form, ask official support before submitting information you know is different.

Some sales require verification before booking. YES24 describes a passport-based process for selected performances marked “Verified Member Only”. Check your page for the requirement and leave time to resolve problems; creating an account may not complete verification.

If you renew a passport or discover a name discrepancy after booking, keep the reference and contact the seller through its official support channel. Another fan’s experience cannot establish which documents your event accepts.

3. Separate fan-club eligibility from ticket purchase

Make a deadline list: membership eligibility, any presale application, membership verification, the presale and the general sale. Copy the announced time zone, then add the corresponding time where you live. Set reminders for preparation as well as purchase.

An earlier example shows why this matters. The notice for IRENE’s May 2026 Seoul concerts specified passport verification, a separate fan-club verification period and purchase routes linked to where verification was completed. Those dates are past. This illustrates a process to inspect, not a current booking opportunity or a rule for every artist.

Check how presale purchases affect any later purchase limit. Build your plans around the ticket you actually obtain.

4. Read these fields before the seat map

FieldQuestion to answer

Performance Have I selected the correct city, date and session?
Admission What age, identity and membership conditions apply?
Seat or package What is included, and what view or access limitations are stated?
Payment Can I use the methods shown, including any required authentication?
Fulfilment Is this collection, delivery, mobile admission or another specified method?
Changes What are the cancellation deadline, charges and permitted changes?

The YES24 purchase guide separates date, seat, delivery and payment stages. Use that distinction to review your order: choosing a desired seat does not establish that you selected the correct date or receiving method.

Prepare payment before the sale. YES24’s FAQ describes 3D authentication for global-site card payments. Check the seller’s and your bank’s current requirements, including access to authentication messages while travelling. Review the final total rather than budgeting only for the advertised seat price.

5. Confirm how the ticket reaches you

For collection, identify who must attend, the required identification and confirmation record, the counter location and its announced operating window. YES24’s FAQ asks for a physical valid passport and booking confirmation, while giving priority to the individual show’s policy. Do not substitute a document photo without checking acceptance.

Global and domestic arrangements can differ within one event. The official notice for ATEEZ’s July 2026 fanmeeting specified on-site collection and passport-name booking for global-page purchases. This is a past example, not a promise about today’s Melon events.

Mobile admission needs a separate check. The June 2026 Weverse Con Festival GREEN PASS page specified mobile tickets without paper collection, and a companion-transfer process for that product. Do not assume the same feature is enabled at another show.

Establish where your ticket opens, which account must be signed in and whether a live screen is required. Save directions separately, but do not assume a screenshot replaces the admission credential. Keep ticket codes and identity documents out of public posts.

6. Review the order and prepare for arrival

After payment, open the reservation record. Compare the date, session, quantity, section and receiving method with your intended purchase. Keep the booking reference and notices together. If payment or order status is unclear, inspect the existing record and ask support before buying again.

Before leaving for the venue, reread the latest entry notice. Pack the required originals, charge your phone, check access to the ticket account and allow time for collection or verification. Follow the event’s arrangements for companions, accessible seating, bags and admission; ask early if you need clarification.

Plan the journey home too: a starting time does not establish when the concert ends. Keep any shopping collection requirements separate from entry. Our official-merch buying checklist covers those decisions.

Questions to resolve before paying

Can my friend book or collect for me?

Check the purchaser, attendee, collection and transfer rules for that ticket. A companion-transfer feature on one product does not establish permission to transfer another. Ask official support before buying if the attendee and account holder differ.

What if the cardholder’s name differs from mine?

Read both payment and identity-check conditions, then ask the seller if the arrangement is unclear. Card acceptance does not establish that the attendee’s documents satisfy entry checks.

Can I cancel and buy a better seat later?

Check your order’s terms. A new seat may no longer be available, and cancellation or booking charges can affect the cost. Do not assume an exchange option.
